Raquel Cavazos Elementary School will Collaboratively work to inspire, nurture, and challenge all children by providing them with an optimal education and curriculum that honors individuality. Our Bluebonnet team won 2nd place in the Battle of the Books on December 4, 2018. They competed against all other elementary schools in the district. Way to go students!!! We are very proud of you!!!
The start of the school day for all Mission CISD will be delayed by two hours tomorrow, Wednesday, November 14, 2018.
We have a family project planned that will be fun for everyone! Help your child to use their creativity and their wonderful imagination to create their favorite character from a book using a pumpkin. Pumpkins are due Tuesday, October 23, 2018.
During October 22-October 31, we will have special school activities to educate our students about the dangers of drugs and alcohol.
On October 2, 2018, wear blue in support of World Day of Bullying Prevention!
Stop by our Scholastic Book Fair September 14 - 21, 2018! Students may visit during their P.E. time. Parents may visit during lunch time or on September 18, 2018 from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
