Principal's Message
Welcome to Raquel Cavazos Elementary School Health Science Academy.
I continue to be blessed to be able to serve this fantastic community for seven years now. We will continue this 2023 - 2024 school year to work with all the staff and parents daily.
We continue to partner up with the Fueling Brains Academy, where all our PK3, PK4, and Kinder students will be following the 3-in-1 curriculum that integrates Left Brain, Right Brain, and Movement (LRM) learning to support executive function and whole brain development.
I expect to continue to ensure that all students learn and provide them with the tools necessary to change the world.
At Raquel Cavazos, the mindset is that ALL students can learn and be successful. All our students have different learning styles, personalities, and qualities. Such diversity of students makes Raquel Cavazos an extraordinary place where we all come together to achieve ONE goal – success for ALL.
I am honored to lead an outstanding school community and eagerly anticipate another rewarding and successful year. Remember Cavazos today…college tomorrow!

Bienvenidos a la Academia de Ciencias de la Salud de la Escuela Primaria Raquel Cavazos.
Sigo teniendo la bendición de poder servir a esta increíble comunidad durante los ultimos siete años. Continuaremos este ciclo escolar de 2023 - 2024 trabajando con todo el personal y los padres todos los días.
Estaremos trabajando con Fueling Brains Academy, donde todos nuestros estudiantes de PK3, PK4 y Kinder seguirán el plan de estudios 3 en 1 que integra el aprendizaje del cerebro izquierdo, cerebro derecho y movimiento para apoyar el aprendizaje ejecutivo, la función y el desarrollo de todo el cerebro.
Mi expectativa personal es continuar asegurando que todos los estudiantes aprendan y brindándoles las herramientas necesarias para poder cambiar el mundo.
En Raquel Cavazos, la mentalidad es que TODOS los estudiantes pueden aprender y tener éxito. Todos nuestros estudiantes tienen diferentes estilos de aprendizaje, diferentes personalidades y diferentes cualidades. Tal diversidad de estudiantes hace de Raquel Cavazos un lugar extraordinario donde todos nos reunimos para lograr UN objetivo: el éxito para TODOS.
Me siento honrada de liderar una comunidad escolar tan sobresaliente y anticipo con entusiasmo otro año gratificante y exitoso. Recuerden Cavazos hoy... ¡y la universidad mañana!
